The film capture Sonic Youth and friends (most notably a pre-”Nevermind” Nirvana) on a two week European tour and has long been considered a classic “fly on the wall” view of a time before the break out of Nirvana and everything that followed in it’s wake. All footage has been fully restored with audio re-synced and remastered in uncompressed PCM stereo under the supervision of Sonic Youth

Frocksteady is starting off 2011 with a bunch of cool, hand printed gig posters by Pavement, Animal Collective, Royal Bangs, Calexico, Menomena, as well as the Jesus Lizard and the Butthole Surfers (hand signed by the band!). It’s been a long time coming and we’re psyched to be the European on line home to great artists like Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Sonic Youth, Vampire Weekend, Heavy Trash, Explosions in the Sky, Pavement, and a whole host of others.
